Guitar models

All guitars are built using the Spanish method of construction using traditional techniques. Each guitar top is thicknessed by hand and all braces are shaped and tapered to maximise strength and lightness and to ensure that each model has the correct sound and feel. European Spruce is usually used for soundboards, this wood is strong, light and responsive and consequently has been used by most legendary luthiers (including Torres, Hauser and Santos Hernandez). Rosettes are crafted individually using a mix of natural and dyed wood veneers to a variety of designs. Guitars are usually French polished using pale shellac, this highlights the natural beauty of the wood and can be thinly applied which ensures the guitar is protected without dampening the tone.
